This project of a contemporary house, located on a small lot in a dense residential area, was designed for single family of four. The site is on a steep slope of a hill facing north-west. These factors set the overall indoor space to be oriented towards backyard offering great views of the city. Large floor-to-ceiling glass panes dissolve the boundaries between inside and outside, extending the floor living space into the terrace overlooking vast city panorama. The top glass ribbon bent over the corner is intended to open inner space to the light of the low winter sun. For the same reason of catching the sun light the pool was turned 90 degrees and cantilevered over the slope, thus making water activities more pleasant avoiding the shadow of the house as much as possible.
